This note describes how Winchester CTC organised rides operate under COVID restrictions to enable limited group riding from June 21st.

Updated 16th May and applies to rides after 21st June.

Rides of up 30 riders allowed. Note if the group size exceeds 12 – 15, club guidance says the ride should be split into smaller groups.

In addtion to these notes the Government's "what you can and can't do" FAQ is here.

This is an evolving proceedure and will be updated.

Rides from the 21st June will not normally need to be booked. However we are encouraging riders to let the leader know that they are planning to come. This is not mandatory but is designed to help leaders by giving them an idea of approximately how many riders to expect, particularly where there is a refreshment stop or large numbers are expected. We hope that this will restore some of the spontaneity of rides and encourage newcomers. The leader is not required to acknowledge these notifications but can use them to estimate numbers and also identify other leaders who may be joining the ride.
