Medium-paced/Faster-paced rides on Sunday (starting from KAS)

The Sunday rides usually start at 8.30 am or 9 am depending upon the time of year. They are ½ day although there are occasional longer rides. See the calendar for details.

There are 2 and sometimes 3 groups:

  • medium-paced group averaging between 11 – 13 mph
  • medium + group  averaging between 14 – 15 mph
  • faster group averaging 15 – 17 mph.

We try and offer both a Medium and Medium + on each Sunday but this depends upon leader availabiity. The groups ride to a designated cafe and then return to Winchester. Usually, there is the option of a longer Medium day ride.

The groups aim to get back into Winchester by lunchtime and the faster group will have ridden about 45 – 55 miles and the medium-paced group about 35 – 45 miles.

Some rides may be longer and these are marked on the calendar.
